Rear door VAZ 2109
In order to remove the back door on the VAZ 2109, follow these steps:
Open the door and remove the two bolts securing the limiter bracket to the B-pillar
Turn away two bolts of fastening of the top and bottom loops of a door to an average rack of a body and remove a door. Installation of the rear door of the VAZ 2109 is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Before final tightening of the bolts securing the hinges to the middle pillar of the body, close the door and set it so that the gaps in the openings around the entire perimeter are the same. Then carefully open the door and finally tighten the mounting bolts.
Replacing the power window and glass on the VAZ 2109
In order to install the rear door glass on the VAZ 2109 or replace the window regulator, follow these steps:
Lower the glass all the way down and remove the rear door upholstery in the same way as removing the front door upholstery. The photo shows the location of the clips for fastening the upholstery of the rear door
Remove the inner lower glass seal
Remove the three holders, two on the top and one on the bottom, by prying them out with a screwdriver. Take out the rear protective film from the door
Unscrew the two bolts securing the glass holder to the power window slider while holding the glass. Lower the glass carefully
Remove the two lower and one upper window guide nuts.
Remove the three nuts securing the power window mechanism
Remove the power window from the door
Remove the outer lower glass seal
Remove the upper rear door seal VAZ 2109
Turn the glass back and take it out of the door
Check the fit of the glass in the cage. If the clip is loose, replace the glass with the clip. Installing the glass of the rear door of the VAZ 2109 with a power window is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Replacing the rear door lock VAZ 2109
Scheme of the lock mechanism and door handle VAZ 2109: 1 - outer handle rod, 2 - outer handle, 3 - intermediate lever of the lock rod, 4 - lock rod, 5 - internal lock, 6 - inner handle rod, 7 - inner handle.
Loosen the two screws securing the outer door lock and remove it. The threads of the screws are sealed, so we recommend using an impact screwdriver when loosening them.
Unscrew the two screws securing the inner handle VAZ 2109
Unscrew the nut securing the intermediate lever of the locking rod
Push the lock rod inside the door
Disconnect the outer handle rod from the inner lock
Push the inside handle inward and remove the lock from the door
Remove the locking brackets to disconnect the rods from the lock levers
Unscrew the two nuts and remove the outer handle of the rear door VAZ 2109. The installation of the VAZ 2109 door lock with drives is carried out in the reverse order of removal, having previously lubricated all rubbing parts with grease. Check the ease of opening and the security of the door lock. Adjust the lock if necessary.
